Science club provides the opportunity for self-expression, independent research and constructive activities, etc. It also allows the students to work on their own ideas, hobbies experiments and etc. There are no restrictions and the students can work on their own ideas with full freedom. Science club helps the student to complete their curriculum in a suitable way.
[a] To improve scientific attitude and provide opportunities for practice in scientific method.
[b]To actively encourage the use of engineering technology in learning science.
[c] To better understand scientific knowledge through science experiments.

In our college the science club is formed with the above mentioned objectives and during this academic year, paper presentation entitled, “Green Chemistry” was organized as the initial activity of our Science Club which paved the way to expose their knowledge on, the day to day harmful effects caused by the human beings for the environment which is being a major issues in world level. The program was organized by the Student Forum Coordinator Dr.V. Vasanthakumar, Head of the Department, Automobile Engineering and the staff advisor of Science club Mrs. S. Bhuvaneswari, Lecturer/ Chemistry. Our Principal Dr. R. Renuga madam presided over the function. Mrs. M. Nithyakalyani lecturer/ Physics, Mr. S Prabhaharan Lecturer/ Physics and Dr. P.M.Ponnusamy Lecturer/ Physics were the Judges of the program. Most of the students came forward and presented their papers with efforts and interest. Based on the content, presentation and Communication Skills, three students were selected. Later, various activities will be conducted through this club. I hope all the students might get opportunity to expose their talents.
