Department Info
History
The subject engineering chemistry creates foundation for understanding of chemistry and its effects on Engineering materials. The syllabus imparts knowledge about the properties of materials and their latest applications in various fields of Engineering and in industry.
Engineering chemistry practical consists of Volumetric and Salt analysis. The chemistry laboratory is fully equipped as per DOTE norms. Each student is exposed to all equipments and does the entire practical individually. This enhances their analytical skill which is turn make them suitable for jobs and also for higher studies.
Mission
The mission of Basic Engineering is to provide a foundation for all academic programs. The motto is to do our utmost to stimulate and maintain an environment of respect and encouragement so that optimum learning can occur. Faculties of non-engineering help students to acquire the knowledge, understand the critical abilities and practical skills necessary to be faithful as well as successful communicators.
Vision
CIT Sandwich Polytechnic College strives to become the standard of excellence, fostering active and student-centered learning. Science and Humanities department enhance the skills of post-matric level adults to be successful at Diploma level.
GOALS Equip the students with technical knowledge and skills in the field of Chemistry.
