History

The Department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year of 2007, with an intake of 40 students. We have well qualified faculty members who train the students in both Theoretical and Practical aspects. We graduate quality Diploma holders each year with a care for their upliftment. There are 8 laboratories with equipments worth of about Rs. one crore for the students of our Department. The infrastructure and equipments of each laboratory are developed and maintained in a remarkable manner.

Our Department students are motivated by the faculty to participate in various State and National level events. The students of our Department undergo Placement trainings, Industrial visits and Internship trainings to equip themselves towards a bright future globally. Leading Automobile industries like Ashok Leyland, Bharath Benz, TVS, Bajaj Auto etc., regularly visit our campus and recruit our students with appreciation.

To impart good training and guidance to the students, so that they will be well equipped with efficient skills in the field of automobile engineering, to develop a personality with positive attitude and a character with strong moral values.

To enlighten great deal of knowledge and skills in self-propelled vehicles with global standards and professional ethics.

Automotive Engines Practical

To Understand the working of various components in IC engine and to dismantle and assemble the components in the vehicle.

Automotive Electrical and Electronics Practical

To identify the various electronic components and to find out the faults in the circuit.

Two-Wheeler And Three-Wheeler Practical

To understand the power transmission mechanism and dismantling and assembling the components of two and three wheeler and importance of maintenance of vehicle.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing Practical

To understand the codes and to develop the skill to write the CNC program to simulate it in the software and to operate the CNC Machines and also to develop skills to work on 3D modelling packages.

Hybrid Vehicle Practical

To know the components and working of hybrid vehicle and also to practice on fault identification and rectification.

Association Activities
